Em McLuckie is a distinguished photographer, designer, and printmaker specializing in concert, portrait, and wildlife photography. With four years of photography experience and two years in the music industry, Em brings a unique, artistic, and flexible style that caters to the diverse needs of bands, both large and small. Em has photographed a variety of venues and artists, demonstrating an open-minded approach to all music genres and portrait styles.
Em offers set pricing but is willing to work within clients' budgets to ensure accessibility. In addition to photography packages, Em provides prints and merchandise design services. In 2024, Em co-founded Alt-Berta, a music festival in collaboration with Dime-Up Records, aimed at promoting local bands and showcasing Canada's vibrant music scene.
Currently, Em is pursuing a Bachelor of Design in Photography with a minor in Printmaking at Alberta University of the Arts. Em is available for bookings in Calgary from the end of August to the end of April, and in Edmonton from May to August each year.
